The Recipe Generation, Monitoring and Production Scheduling package provides a complete system for the creation, running and maintenance of production processes. The recipe system is hierarchical in design, with an engineering level at which the processes and recipes are defined, and an operator level at which the schedule and recipes can be viewed and modified within limits.
The Recipe Template Editor allows ingredients to be named and their type defined as analog, digital or setpoint outputs. A similar Schedule Template Editor allows the processes to be named and their 'end of process' variable to be identified.
The Recipe Editor then allows the amounts of the various 'ingredients' to be allocated to a given recipe name and the upper and lower bounds to be set as operator entry limits. The Schedule Editor is then used to define the sequence of recipes and their batch codes that will be run in each process area.
Finally, a run-time Recipe View and Modify program allows operators to see the current recipe in a given process or area, and make modification within the limits set during configuration.
