The Pro-Pack database can be configured from 16 up to 32767
points limited only be available EMS memory. The database is
entirely homogenous, with all points having unique descriptor,
tag, units, alarms, scaling factors and outputs. A unique browser
facility allows you to view 100 points per page and zoom in on a
single point with a mouse click. Ideal during configuration, the
browser lets you clearly identify which points are 'owned' by
which driver or other process such as a calculator or sequencer
and flow the data flow through the system. Points can be
associated with an analog
or digital output within an I/O device providing control of a
process where necessary.
The information held in the database can be stored and
retrieved in an efficient binary format, or can be imported and
exported in ASCII in a 'CSV' format for external
generation/maintenance.
