Alarm capabilities

4 Alarms per point Fixed or floating limits False alarm elimination 4 outputs per point

The advanced alarm features within Pro-Pack permit each database point to have up to 4 unique prioritised limits applied. Each limit can be either a fixed value or the current value of another database point.

Spurious alarms can be eliminated by assigning a 'dead-band' around the limit, or by demanding that a number of consecutive measurements meet the alarm limit criteria before an alarm is recognised.

Alarms can be automatically cleared when the alarm condition no longer prevails, or can require acknowledgement from the operator before being cleared.

An output can be attached to each alarm condition which, in turn can drive a physical output such as a bell, lamp or siren.
